Song mastering is the final stage of audio post-production. It enhances the mix after it’s already been mixed and adds the final polish for maximum sound quality.
The mastered track is then exported in various formats for release on digital platforms and physical media.

What is classic mastering
The goal of classic mastering is to enhance the sound quality of the already mixed track and to prepare all necessary versions in accordance with the requirements of various platforms and media formats (digital platforms, vinyl, CD, radio, TV).

Frequently asked questions about mastering
AI is not human. It doesn't hear or feel sound the way we do. It performs an average operation based on what's programmed into it. A human mastering engineer makes decisions based on what they hear and feel — correcting flaws and highlighting the strengths of your track.
If you feel the track needs adjustments, all necessary revisions will be made free of charge. I work for results and care deeply about making sure you're happy with how your track sounds.
Mastering improves overall balance and sound but can’t fix problems that occurred during mixing:
- Poor mix – unbalanced instruments, frequency conflicts, muddy or messy sound
- Clipping/Overload – if the track is already distorted, mastering won't fix crackles or harshness
- Bad EQ – missing frequencies or harsh resonances can’t be fully removed
- Weak stereo image – a narrow, unbalanced stereo field cannot be widened cleanly
- Phase issues – phase problems may cause loss of elements when played in mono
- Export your mix in WAV or AIFF format with a sample rate of 44.1 kHz – 192 kHz and bit depth of 24 or 32 bit.
- Leave headroom – don’t apply a limiter to cut the master bus peaks.
- Attach references – include tracks that reflect the sound you aim for.
